New Payment Flow: Customers pay for deals directly through VibeRoute app. Commissions and platform fees are deducted from customer payments, and your share is settled to your bank account. No upfront payments or wallet balance required.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using VibeRoute ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

VibeRoute is a social discovery platform that connects users with local businesses, deals, and experiences. The Service includes:

Location-based business discovery
Deal and offer notifications
Commission-based referral marketing system
Check-in and reward systems
Social features and community engagement
Business profiles and analytics (for business accounts)
Secure payment processing through customer payments model

User Accounts

Account Creation

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
You must provide accurate and complete information
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must not share your account credentials with others
Business accounts must provide valid business registration details and bank account information

Account Types

Explorer/Influencer Accounts: For users discovering businesses, sharing deals, and earning commissions

Business Accounts: For businesses promoting services, creating deals, and paying commissions from customer payments

Customer Payment Model

Customers pay for deals directly through the VibeRoute app
Commissions are deducted from customer payments before business settlement
No upfront payments or wallet balance required from businesses
Business share is automatically settled to registered bank account
Settlements processed within 2-5 business days

Business Bank Account Requirements

Valid Nigerian bank account required for settlements
Account must be in business name or authorized representative
Accurate bank details must be maintained in account settings
VibeRoute not liable for settlements to incorrect bank accounts
Minimum settlement amounts may apply

Commission Structure

Customer payment:₦10,000

Influencer commission (10%):- ₦1,000

Platform fee (2%):- ₦200

User Conduct

You agree not to:

Violate any laws or regulations
Impersonate another person or entity
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Spam or send unsolicited messages
Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the Service
Use bots or automated systems without authorization
Collect or harvest user data without permission
Create fake check-ins or fraudulent commission claims
Attempt to circumvent commission payments through any means
Provide false bank account information
Encourage customers to pay outside VibeRoute to avoid commissions

Business Account Terms

Business accounts agree to:

Provide accurate business information and keep it updated
Honor all deals and offers posted on the platform
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Not misrepresent services or engage in deceptive practices
Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
Maintain appropriate licenses and permits for their business
Provide valid Nigerian bank account for settlements
Accept commission deductions from customer payments
Verify deal redemptions within 24 hours
Not encourage customers to pay outside VibeRoute system
Comply with Nigerian tax regulations

Dispute Resolution

Nigerian Law Provisions

All disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Nigerian law
Any disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of Lagos State courts
Businesses agree to jurisdiction in Lagos State courts
These terms constitute a binding contract enforceable under Nigerian law

Commission Disputes

Commission disputes must be raised within 48 hours of settlement
Businesses must provide evidence of fraudulent check-ins
During dispute resolution, funds may be held in escrow
VibeRoute's decision on commission disputes is final and binding
Frivolous disputes may result in account suspension

LEGAL NOTICE FOR BUSINESSES:

Attempting to circumvent commission payments by encouraging customers to pay outside VibeRoute constitutes fraud and breach of contract. VibeRoute reserves the right to pursue legal action, suspend accounts, and report fraudulent activities to relevant authorities.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

Violation of these Terms of Service
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Abuse of the platform or other users
Attempting to circumvent commission payments
Encouraging customers to pay outside VibeRoute
Providing false bank account information
Repeated commission disputes without valid grounds
Any reason at our discretion, with or without notice

Important: Account termination does not relieve businesses of their obligation to honor pending deals or process refunds for unfulfilled services.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
